I loved the way the poems moved&#8211;they never settled for the simple epiphany, but kept working and working, sometimes doubling back and reinventing themselves.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<div>D.A. Powell&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.graywolfpress.org\/component\/page,shop.flypage\/product_id,382\/category_id,0485aa93fa0558fb1f755721e776984d\/option,com_phpshop\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Useless Landscape, or A Guide for Boys<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(Graywolf Press)&#8211;I&#8217;m a native Californian, and I love the way that Powell maps the landscape of Northern California, looking closely at its history of immigration, exploitation, personal histories, etc.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<div>Cathy Park Hong&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/books.wwnorton.com\/books\/Engine-Empire\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Engine Empire<\/em><\/a> (W.W.
